Dr. Emmy Li is an Assistant Professor (Honorary) at CUHK and a Consultant Ophthalmologist, specializing in cataract surgery, ophthalmic epidemiology, and ocular oncology. As President of the Hong Kong Ophthalmological Society (HKOS), she promotes professional training and public education for quality eye care. Since joining HKOS in 2013, she has organized major events like the 2021 Hong Kong Ophthalmological Symposium. Dr. Li also contributes to regional ophthalmology through leadership roles in Asia-Pacific organizations. She balances academic excellence with community service, participating in initiatives like the Hainan Cataract Free Project. Her impactful work earned her the Asia-Pacific Eye 100 recognition (2022) and the APAO Distinguished Service Award (2024).
